Chiara Boeri My Books

As Picasso said “Painting is just another way of keeping a diary.” So is with my work. Since I love books and live among thousands of them, books naturally serve as my inspiration, and frequently are the point of origin of my works. This is my way of translating books into images. Since I also love calligraphy, words are also often part of my works, no matter what language and alphabet, with different colors and shape, following the meaning of the books from which I took them.
